AI app builders turn a description into a working web app. They’re useful for prototypes, internal tools and landing pages. Here are three popular options, with plan details from each company’s own pages, checked on October 18, 2026.
v0’s free plan has a 7-message daily limit. Plus costs $30/user/month and includes $30 of monthly credits per user, plus $2 of free daily credits when you log in. Business costs $100/user/month and opts out of training data by default.
Pick it if you mostly need web interfaces and front-end code.
2. Lovable: best for full apps from a chat

Lovable: best for full apps from a chat
Lovable’s free plan gives 5 build credits a day, up to 30 a month, plus small monthly grants for Cloud, AI and connectors. Lovable lists sample costs per prompt, from 0.50 credits (“Make the button gray”) to 1.70 credits (“Build me a landing page, use images”) (Lovable). Paid plan prices didn’t load when we checked, so see the pricing page.
Pick it if you want to describe a whole app and iterate in conversation.
3. Replit: best when you want to keep coding

Replit: best when you want to keep coding
Replit’s Core plan costs $20/month, or $18/month billed annually, and includes $20 toward more powerful models. Pro costs $100/month, or $90 annually. Without a paid plan, Free Mode has limits such as “up to 30 hours of chat.”
Pick it if you want an AI agent and a full coding environment in the browser.
All three can get you a working prototype. The difference is how fast you burn credits once you start fixing details. Use the free daily allowance to build the same small app in two of them before you pay.
Apps built this way still need someone to maintain them. Check how each tool handles exporting your code and hosting before you build something important.
