Terms of Use

1. Agreement#

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Dgtuls, which operates DGTULS at dgtuls.com ("DGTULS", "we", "us"). By using the site, its tools, forum or newsletter, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use DGTULS.

2. Who can use DGTULS#

Anyone can read DGTULS. To create an account or post in the forum, you must be at least 16 years old and able to agree to these Terms. If you use DGTULS for a company, you confirm you're allowed to accept these Terms for it.

3. Our content#

• Information, not advice. Articles, reviews, comparisons, guides and tool results are for general information. They're not legal, financial, medical, security or other professional advice. Decide for yourself, and ask a qualified professional when it matters.
• Accuracy. We work from official sources and show when we checked prices and facts. See our Editorial Policy and Review Methodology. Technology changes fast, though, and we can't guarantee every detail is complete or current. If you spot an error, tell us and we'll fix verified mistakes.
• Opinions. "Our take" sections and verdicts are our opinions, based on the reasons we give.
• Trademarks. Product names, logos and brands belong to their owners. Mentioning them doesn't mean they endorse DGTULS or that we're affiliated with them.

4. Prices, deals and affiliate links#

Prices, plans and deals are correct on the date shown in the article. Companies change them without notice. Always confirm the final price, terms and availability on the seller's site. We don't sell products ourselves; any purchase is between you and the seller.

Some links are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Partners don't approve our content. Details: Affiliate Disclosure.

5. Free tools and the prompt library#

• You may use our tools (calculators, comparison tools, the Website Tech Analyzer, prompt builders and others) for personal and business purposes.
• Results are estimates. Cost calculators use published prices on the check date; detection tools can miss or misidentify technologies. Don't rely on a tool's result alone for important decisions.
• Website Tech Analyzer: submit only websites you're allowed to analyze. Don't use it to probe sites for weaknesses, overload them or get around daily limits. We respect websites' robots.txt rules and may block abusive use.
• Prompt library: you may copy and use our prompts freely, including for commercial work. Please don't republish the library, or large parts of it, as your own collection.
• Beta features: some tools are marked "beta" or "PRO (free during beta)". We may change, limit or remove them at any time.

6. Accounts#

• Give accurate information and keep your email address current.
• Keep your password private and don't share your account. You're responsible for activity on it.
• Tell us right away at contact if you think someone else is using your account.
• One person, one account. Accounts can't be sold or transferred.
• You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

7. The community forum and your content#

• You own your posts. By posting, you give DGTULS a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, format and distribute your content on DGTULS and in our own channels (for example, quoting a helpful answer in our newsletter or on our social pages, credited to your username). This license lasts while your content is on DGTULS, plus a reasonable time to remove copies.
• You're responsible for what you post. Only post content you have the right to share, and follow the Community Guidelines.
• Public by default. Forum posts can be read by anyone and may appear in search engines.
• Moderation. We may edit formatting, move, hide or remove posts, and limit or close accounts that break the rules. We don't review every post before it's published and aren't responsible for what users post, but we act on reports.
• Reporting. Contact us to flag content.

8. Things you must not do#

• Break the law or anyone's rights, including privacy, copyright and trademark rights.
• Post spam, undisclosed promotion or affiliate links, malware, phishing or scams.
• Harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, or post hateful or sexually explicit content.
• Scrape or copy the site in bulk, use bots that overload it, or try to get around rate limits or access controls.
• Probe, scan or test the security of DGTULS without our written permission. (If you found a security problem, please report it to us privately.)
• Use DGTULS content to train AI models or build a competing database without our written permission.
• Interfere with the site's operation or other people's use of it.

9. Our intellectual property#

DGTULS's articles, design, logos, graphics, original images, code and the prompt library (as a collection) belong to Dgtuls or our licensors, and are protected by copyright and other laws.

• You may read, share links, and quote short excerpts with a link and credit to DGTULS.
• You may not republish full articles or large parts of the site without written permission.
• Photos credited to third parties (for example, Unsplash photographers or company press images) belong to their owners and are used under their licenses.

10. Copyright complaints#

If you believe something on DGTULS infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@dgtuls.com with:

1. your contact details;
2. a description of the copyrighted work;
3. the URL of the material on DGTULS;
4. a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized;
5. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you're the owner or authorized to act for the owner;
6. your physical or electronic signature.

We'll review it and remove material when appropriate. If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.

11. Third-party links and services#

DGTULS links to other websites, stores and services, and some features rely on third parties (for example, sharing to Facebook). We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, products, prices or policies. Your dealings with them are between you and them.

12. Paid plans#

DGTULS is free today. If we launch paid plans (such as DGTULS Pro), we'll show the price, billing terms and cancellation rules before you buy, and those terms will apply to your purchase along with these Terms.

13. Disclaimers#

DGTULS, its content and tools are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.

Some places don't allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.

14. Limitation of liability#

To the extent the law allows, DGTULS and Dgtuls won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of DGTULS, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim related to DGTULS is limited to US $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

15. Indemnity#

If you break these Terms or the law, or post content that infringes someone's rights, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and claims that result for DGTULS, to the extent the law allows.

16. Suspension and termination#

You can stop using DGTULS and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts, or block access, if someone breaks these Terms, puts others at risk or if we're required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as content licenses, disclaimers and limits of liability) continue after termination.

17. Governing law and disputes#

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us at legal@dgtuls.com so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. If you're a consumer, you keep any rights the law of your country or state gives you, including the right to bring a claim in your local courts where the law provides it.

18. Changes to these terms#

We may update these Terms as DGTULS changes. We'll change the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we'll post a notice on the site and, if you have an account, email you before they take effect. If you keep using DGTULS after changes take effect, you accept the new Terms.

19. General#

These Terms, with the policies they link to, are the whole agreement between you and us about DGTULS. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right right away, we haven't given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours as part of a business transfer.
